i wonder...

have you been to a supermarket recently? i did this morning. Seeing the piles and piles of, u know, veges, meat, etc, i pondered. how long did it take for this han zhi to grow to such a size, that it should be fit for sale and consumption? And having that figure, how long then, would it take for that han zhi to be consumed? pretty big difference there i suppose. ya ya, i technology, modern farming methods... blah blah... is the world really producing food fast enough for its predominant species to consume? hah it probably is la (i hope) but even so, how long can we sustain this rate of production? Indefinitely? i think not. the human population is still growing, no? (actually i don't know, that was an honest question, but i think it is la) is it possible that we, as a species, are flourishing too well for our own good? (fucking ourselves, in more ways than one) i'm sure greater minds than mine have pondered this as well, why else would people come up with ideas such as space colonies and the like? this leads me to wonder if killer diseases like AIDS and cancer are actually good for the human species in the long run... a higher power's efforts to save us from crowding ourselves to death, u know? what do u guys think? I'm not trying to be funny or anything, i really wanna know. pls pls, comment

and another thing,
problem: over-population of earth
proposed solution: space colonies?

how bout condoms man?

aids won't matter. even if we all get sick with the HIV we will still be fucking each other and producing HIV infected babies. big deal! as far as the food goes, in western countries specifically america, people have so much food they are grossly over wieght. then you consider the all the people starving in africa and asia. in the end i think the food sources will stay balanced out, until the large fish are eradicated in the oceans. then we will be truly fucked. won't be long.
