i mean, look at it this way la, christianity has been around for 2000 yrs, and before that, the jewish religion much further back to the time of moses, and the exodus from egypt. It is the largest religion in the world today. Do u honestly think that, all these people share these exact values and beliefs as your aunts? that they, of all things, PRAY FOR THE HEALTH OF THEIR KOI?!
dude, give your religion a chance la. U are smart enough to know that there is much more to christianity than what ever lame shit ur family has been telling you. If they are misguided and preachy, then instead of sitting there and kao peh kao bu, go and learn what u can, give them a lecture and make them shut the fuck up la...
i think that there is much wisdom in christian teachings, u just have to listen carefully to ther right people. and seive out all the rubbish...

mm secularist does not equate to pessimist. On the contrary, it makes you appreciate life more and seek opportunities, work hard and smart for your own goal instead of praying for some divine intervention or waiting for some cushioned life after death.
I concede that a little faith is beneficial, but this world is not built on faith anymore than it is on words. See through the bubble before it bursts

i'm not a big fan of the bible myself, but everyone is entitled to believe in whatever he chooses to believe. i don't think there's any point in making another person "see the light". no love preaching long time.
